About SCGS
Founded in 1959, the Seattle Classic Guitar Society is a local, member-based, 501(c)3 non-profit organization dedicated to promoting the music of the classic guitar. Membership includes:
- Concert ticket discounts
- Free attendance at Guitar Society meetings
- Periodic performance opportunities
- Summer picnic, Christmas party and other events
- Notification of events
- A one-year subscription to the Guitar Soundings, the SCGS's
newsletter
which
includes a calendar of upcoming concerts, local news, announcements of events, and articles of interest to enthusiasts of the art of the classic guitar.
